Hwange National Park tours and safaris

The jewel in the crown of Zimbabwe’s wildlife reserves is Hwange National Park, which encompasses sprawling grasslands, rocky outcrops, and mopane woodlands in the country’s far west. It was once a hunting ground for the Ndebele Kingdom founder, Mzilikazi, and has been protected as a wildlife reserve since 1929.

Hwange is home to more than 100 mammal species including lions, cheetahs, and brown hyenas, as well as boasting huge herds of elephants and Cape wild dogs. It offers incredible birdwatching on the shores of Mandavu and Masuma lakes, as well as encompassing the 18th-century century ruins of the Bambusi National Monument.

Let our Zimbabwe experts craft an unforgettable safari in Hwange National Park to discover its diverse landscapes, wildlife abundance, and ancient heritage. As a visitor to this exceptional country, you’ll become part of the ongoing legacy to protect Africa’s rich cultural and natural heritage.
