3 Nights - Grumeti Serengeti
On arrival at the
Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll be greeted by a Vencha representative
and transferred to the domestic terminal for your flight to the Serengeti. Here
you’ll be met by another representative for the short but scenic drive to the
Faru Faru Lodge.
NB: Same-day domestic flight transfers are only available for international flights arriving at Kilimanjaro International Airport before 1 pm. Later arrivals will require you to overnight in Arusha before a connecting flight the next morning or you have the option to take a private charter flight to the Serengeti on the same day.
After breakfast at the Faru Faru Lodge, you’ll embark on a full-day game drive through the wildlife-filled plains of the Grumeti Serengeti. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the middle of the day so you can spend its entirety out in the wilds and take advantage of the wildlife spotting opportunities. You’ll return to the lodge with time to freshen up before dinner is served.
After an early morning breakfast, head out on an exciting half-day game drive through the Grumeti Serengeti, perhaps spotting some of the animals you missed the previous day. Then return to the lodge in time for lunch and enjoy a pampering spa treatment during the heat of the middle of the day.
In the late afternoon, embark on a walking safari to get a different perspective on the Grumeti wilderness or opt for another game drive. Then return to the lodge for a relaxing dinner and your final night beneath the African sky in the Serengeti.
